Article: WHEN CREATIVE WORLDS COLLIDE

WHEN CREATIVE WORLDS COLLIDE

We've just returned from the amazing Soho Summit powered by Porsche. When you receive an invite like this from Porsche it's not one you sit on.
It’s one of those events you hope to experience once, so to be welcomed back again feels incredibly special. We feel genuinely lucky to be part of something so thoughtfully curated, inspiring, and creatively charged.
It only made sense to take the new JCR 992.2 Turbo S along for the ride, straight from our 2000 mile trip to Spa Francorchamps which included two full days on track, testing our new exhaust parts.

This year’s theme, “When the Creative Worlds Collide,” set the tone for an event that brought together minds from different disciplines in a way that felt both natural and exciting. It wasn’t just about design it was about perspective, process, and how creativity flows across industries.

One of the standout moments for us was sitting in on the panel “How to Design a World of Change,” hosted by Candice Brathwaite. The conversation featured renowned designer Kelly Hoppen alongside Isabel Mangold, Product Manager in the Limited Series from Porsche, and it offered such a refreshing and insightful look into the design world.
Hearing how decisions are made at Porsche, how ideas evolve, how precision meets creativity was fascinating. What really struck us was how similar the design process is across different fields. Whether you’re designing a car or a home interior, the foundations are often the same: intention, storytelling, and attention to detail. Yet, the execution differs in such unique and interesting ways.
What stood out most was how closely this aligned with our own journey at JCR. The same careful consideration, creative exploration, and refined decision-making are all part of how we design and develop our new products. The drive to create something that not only looks great but functions seamlessly as intended.

Beyond the talks, the event itself was an experience. One of the highlights was seeing the brand-new Cayenne Electric up close, displayed alongside earlier models. It created a powerful visual journey through time showcasing how the Porsche SUV has evolved from its earlier fuel-driven versions to the forward-thinking, electric-focused designs of today.
It wasn’t just about the cars, it was about innovation, heritage, and the direction the brand is moving in. Seeing that evolution in one space really brought the story to life.
This year, we were also lucky enough to be invited for an overnight stay, which made the whole experience even more memorable.

Walking into our room to find an incredible goody bag waiting for us was such a thoughtful touch. Every item felt carefully chosen, and we were genuinely blown away by the generosity. The Porsche Pepita Thermos Cup was a true highlight. It’s those little details that elevate an event from great to unforgettable and this was full of them.

Events like this remind us why we love what we do. To be surrounded by creativity, to hear from inspiring voices, and to connect with such a forward-thinking brand, it’s something we don’t take for granted.
Thank you to Porsche GB for inviting us back and for the amazing hospitality.
We would also like to extend our thanks to Soho Farmhouse. From arrival to departure, we were exceptionally well looked after and recieved outstanding hospitality. Every member of staff we met was courteous and attentive.
Here’s to more moments where creative worlds collide.
