NEW PRODUCTS - 997 GT2 / RS TITANIUM RACE PIPES

We’re beyond excited to announce the release of our brand-new 997 GT2 / RS Race Pipes. Comprising of an Inconel Cat Replacement Section paired with a Titanium Centre replacement section, this really is, as good as it gets.

With the formidable reputation that the GT2 product line has; dubbed the 'window maker' by automotive journalists and anyone who’s been lucky enough to have driven one, we wanted to ensure that we were doing these cars the justice that they deserved, both in the performance and sound department.

We started development at the peak of this product range, the 997 GT2 RS. Owned by a long-standing customer and Porsche collector, it was paramount that the exhaust was perfect, as is the case with all of our products.

For our first system, we opted for Titanium Race Pipe (Non Silenced - Race Cats). This would allow for a sizeable increase in HP & TQ figures in addition to the increase in volume that we’re all looking for from an exhaust change.

Enlisting the help of the team at JZM Porsche, the system went on just as we’d expected thanks to our Scan / CAD design process and Billet Jigs, ensuring perfect fitment and accuracy during the production phase.

All of the JCR 997 GT2 and GT2 RS Race Pipes are direct replacement for their OEM equivalents with guaranteed fit every time. No requirement for any further work during install beyond removing the OEM part and replacing with its JCR equivalent along with any supplied hardware.

First impressions are that the car sounded even better than we could have hoped for. With our signature central merge design, we have added a particularly sweet N/A style tone along with attenuating the nasty drone frequencies often associated with the turbo charged models. Now, all that’s left is for the customer to enjoy the car as Porsche intended, only slightly faster and louder. 

We're offering four versions of our new 997 GT2 / RS Race Pipe, each highlighted below. First up, the two Non Silenced options that we offer.

TITANIUM RACE PIPE (NON SILENCED / CAT DELETES)

Zero Silencers

The purpose of the JCR Titanium Race Pipe products for the 997 GT2 and GT2 RS models is to reduce weight whilst increasing power, torque and improving overall sound.

Our Non Silenced version of the centre section provides a nice increase in overall sound compared to the factory exhaust and includes a tuned central merge for improved exhaust scavenging effect and a smoother and more pleasant tone throughout the RPM range.

Catalyst Delete

With Cat Delete version of our Titanium Race Pipe the restrictive factory catalyst is removed for maximum performance and sound. Rather than simply removing the Cat from our Race Cat products we created a whole new profile to correctly control the gasses from the turbo flange down to the main flow path to optimise performance.

TITANIUM RACE PIPE (NON SILENCED / RACE CATS)

Zero Silencers

HJS 200 CEL Cat

The JCR Inconel Race Cat removed the restrictive factory catalyst and replaces it with a high flow HJS 200 Cel version. Flow is greatly improved and subsequently increased performance comes as a result. Our race cat versions require no tuning. 

In certain instances it's still possible for a CEL to occur. This tends to be if the car has poor fuel quality in the tank or excess load is applied when the engine and exhaust system is not up to full operating temperature. With this in mind, we do not guarantee that there is no chance of a CEL with these parts installed however in our experience it’s extremely unlikely.
