JCR 992 GT3 RS PROJECT - INSTALMENT 06 (COLLECTION DAY)

Only 7 days after collecting the car from Porsche Centre Sutton Coldfield, we feel we’ve created something pretty special. With a huge thanks to our wonderful suppliers, we have managed to create the most bespoke 992 GT3 RS. Something that we’re extremely proud of.

Now, we would like to introduce you all to the JCR Inozetek Navy Blue 992 GT3 RS.

Cool isn’t it? We’ll let the photos do the majority of the talking, however, lets focus on a few of the details, starting with the obvious; the colour. As with all things, this was a difficult decision to make, however as soon as we laid eyes on the Inozetek Navy Blue there was no going back. The gloss finish is stunning and many would be hard pressed to notice the difference between this particular wrap and a painted finish. Inozetek were fantastic help when it came to supplying the material for this build and we would like to extend our thanks for being part of our latest project.

Once we had selected our colour, it was time to get in touch with the amazing team over at WrapIT Vehicle Graphics. These guys are responsible for both iterations of our 718 GT4 RS build and the people we trusted the most to bring our render to reality.

As well as the full colour change, the guys also wrapped all of the exposed carbon fibre found on the Weissach Package car in satin PPF, as well as inverting the exposed carbon fibre on the bonnet, something that we’ve wanted to do since first seeing the Weissach cars being released.

The team over at Highgate house were also on hand to supply us with OEM style graphics too, a real finishing touch to such a big build. WrapIT then meticulously applied these decals to our very unique car, with the finishing touch being PPF applied over the key, high impact zones.

We also thought it was only right to put a little JCR touch into the interior whilst we were at it so a set of our seat cushion covers were installed in a stunning contrast cloth which we feel works perfectly to pull in some of the exterior colour into the interior whilst respecting the subtle factory look

Now, onto a potentially polarising part of this build. You probably noticed that our car has blue wheels. Inozetek Navy Blue, to be precise.

With a resurgence in silver wheels over the course of the past year, we thought it was only right to change things up a little. This is where we entrusted the help of the guys at Muffwash to not only perfectly refinish the factory Magnesium wheels but also create a paint which perfectly matches the colour of a wrap material with no available paint code. Creating a paint to match a swatch is no mean feat but these guys absolutely nailed it. We know these won’t be for everyone, however, we absolutely love them and against the body of the car, we couldn’t be happier. A really unique touch, pulled off perfectly.

We have a few more touches lined up for the interior and exterior of this build which will take things to the next level. Unfortunately those things were possible to achieve within the first week however we’ll be revealing those touches in the following build instalments.

We would like to say a huge thank you to the aforementioned suppliers and friends who without, none of this would have been possible. This is only the start for this build however, with a ton of plans coming to life over the coming weeks so be sure to check back in for future instalments where we will show you what else we have planned in.

Now, let’s go and do what we do best. Time for a track day, or ten.
