NEW PRODUCT - FERRARI 488 GTB & 488 PISTA TITANIUM RACE PIPE (NON SILENCED)

It’s been a long time coming, but what better car to kick off our deep dive into the Ferrari brand than the Ferrari 488 model range.

Being quite possibly the most prestigious vehicle marque on the planet, it was only right that we went above and beyond in the design of this system. 100% Titanium construction, billet Titanium brackets and hangars along with Inconel Heat Shielding.

Over the years, Ferrari have produced some of the most iconic sounding cars, however there is always room for improvement, especially on the later generation turbo charged applications.

Our Titanium Race Pipe for the 488 GTB and 488 Pista is one of the lightest exhaust systems that we’ve produced to date. With a -7.36 kg (16.23 lbs) weight saving over the factory exhaust, this system really suits the track focused ethos of these cars.

The Race Pipe itself is manufactured entirely from Titanium whilst also featuring super high quality Inconel Heat Shielding, ensuring all engine bay components are kept safe from the heat of the exhaust system.

Below is some comparison images of the system before and after heat shielding has been applied. It's a shame to cover up the beauty of this system however on a mid engined turbo charged application, correct heat shielding and insulation is essential.

The Heat Shielding encapsulation material applied is Inconel with super high quality insulation ensuring the exhaust temperature stays inside the exhaust and not into the surrounding components. 

Our design also includes a merge which mixes the gasses from each bank, unlikely the factory exhaust. This design detail accentuates the high pitched V8 tone, reminiscent of the 458 Italia that we all know and love.
