EVO MAGAZINE HAVE SPOKEN

It's that time of year again where evo Magazine crown their latest Car of the Year!

The 2024 contenders consisted of nine, extremely varied cars;

Aston Martin Vantage
Morgan Plus Four
McLaren Artura Spider
Porsche 911 S/T
Mazda MX-5
Toyota GR Yaris
Ford Mustang Dark Horse
BMW M4 CS
Audi RS6 GT

After some picturesque road driving the evo team headed to Circuito de Navarra in Spain to see how dynamic the cars can be when pushing them closer to their limits under safer and more controlled conditions.

It's great to see the evo team have selected yet another Porsche as their car of the year after the Porsche 911 GT3 RS took the crown in 2023. This year the Porsche 911 S/T came out on top!

The video has only made us even more excited to be taking delivery of our very own 911 S/T, very soon.

Editor-in-chief Stuart Gallagher, from evo Magazine explained how the GT3 RS really set the bar in 2023 and how the S/T hadn't quite reached that bar, so lets see if we can enhance the S/T to get closer to performing like a GT3 RS. Who knows maybe we can do some comparisons of the stock S/T with the JCR S/T.

Here at JCR we focus on performance enhancing parts for the road and track. The JCR 911 S/T project will be like any other JCR project; understanding the positives and negatives of the car and where it can be improved upon then setting to work.

We'll be putting our attention into turning our S/T into something a little more performance & track focussed, without compromising the on-road manners. A similar concept as to what we achieved so well with the JCR Speedster, a few years ago.
